As the world navigates through the complexities of dealing with the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, please be aware that Empowerment Church takes the health of all our church attendees very seriously. It is our plan to assure that every possible consideration and precaution is taken.
For many, the spread of this virus has caused fear and anxiety. Yet we are grateful that the Bible tells us, “God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind” (2 Timothy 1:7). We pray that you would sense God’s peace in the midst of these difficult circumstances. This does not mean we should be careless or reactionary but rather walk in wisdom as we serve the Lord and our community in a way that demonstrates our trust in God and our love for people.
We would like to make sure that you are aware of the necessary prevention and preparedness measures that we as a church are taking to ensure your physical health as we continue to minister to your spiritual needs. Our team has been monitoring the situation around the clock and making decisions that we believe are best for our spiritual family and local community.
At this time, church will look a little different on the weekends as we have moved our Sunday service to ONLINE ONLY at www.empowerment.church/live. After careful consideration of information from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) regarding social distancing and the support of preventative measures to limit the spread of the coronavirus in the community.

As always can also email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or reach us by call/text at 630-447-0220, we are committed to praying for you and still doing our part of spreading hope and love.
We have a unique opportunity to lean on God and trust His sovereignty and care over us as we navigate each and every threat, which would drive fear into our hearts.
For further encouragement, please also read Psalms 91.
Thank you for being a part of our Empowerment Family, it is a privilege to serve as your pastor, and thank you in advance for attending to the health and well-being of all of our church members.
Love you and praying for you,
